This Vintage key has hollow barrel and oval bow.
This short but thick key is made of Iron and has a good measure of rust spots on its surface. It shows age but still in good condition. I have just brushed the key with a steel brush apart from that nothing has been done to restore the key.
I leave the cleaning and restoring work to you.

8 inch long antique key

This post is about a very long Antique key made up of iron. This one is unusual due to its length (8 inch)! This stunning Antique key is Indian in Origin, probably dating around 1950's, perhaps a tad earlier. I think it was probably used for safe, wardrobe closet, etc.

First antique post

So here I'm with my first post and one step closer to start an antique online store. My love affair in antiques started with the heirloom. Later as my passion in antique grew, I slowly ventured out to spot antique pieces. Most of it was scoured from various shops and few precious ones from my friends and other known people.

The antiques items I trade are small in size. In my collection, I’ve eclectic accumulation of small antique pieces like Antique keys, antique coins, antique books, wood work, bronze work, beads and other collectibles items.
